“Born and raised in Washington, I’ve spent most of my life in the Edmonds and Bothell area. After high school, I developed a passion for restoring classic muscle cars and still enjoy it today — my collection includes a ’55 Ford F100, a ’70 Plymouth Road Runner, and a ’71 Dodge Hemi Challenger.
For 25 years, I raced the #01 stock car, earning two NASCAR Championships and recognition as one of the Top 70 Drivers of All Time at Evergreen Speedway. In 2009, I hung up my helmet to spend more time with my two wonderful children, Lauren and Steven, both proud graduates of Bothell High School. Lauren now works in management at Costco, and Steven is an auto service advisor at Kia of Everett.
In November 2019, I was fortunate to marry my best friend, Kelly, who serves as a Site Manager for Optum Health. I’m also a passionate supporter of breast cancer awareness and research — a cause close to my heart after losing my first wife to breast cancer in 2016. Over the years, I’ve participated in seven Susan G. Komen 3-Day (60-mile) walks and helped raise more than $20,000 for breast cancer research. It brings me great satisfaction to be on the front lines offering support and encouragement to cancer patients and their families.”

When I’m off the clock, I am an avid car enthusiast who loves attending car shows and events, exploring scenic drives, and the thrill of an unforgettable day on the track. I also enjoy traveling and dividing my time between the sunshine of Arizona and Washington.”
Kari
Kari is the first voice you typically hear when you call the agency. Her natural smile and happy attitude flow through the phone with every call. A lifelong Northwest Native who has spent her life enjoying everything our region has to offer. Her favorite places are an ocean beach, ski slope or mountain trail. Kari spends her free time working in her yard and garden. Kari spent ten years as a K-12 schoolteacher before coming to the insurance world in 2010.
